Community Café at International House Odense introduces municipal Odense — where to find help, and how to access information about social activities and the practical aspects of everyday life in the city.

Our goal is to help you make the most of the many services available to you as a citizen of Odense.

At Community Café, we’re all about social connections and getting to know the community around us. There’s so much we can learn from our community, and with a central venue like Borgernes Hus, it couldn’t be easier to add fresh insights and friendly conversations to your day.

Maybe you’re curious about your local community too? We invite both Danes and internationals in Odense to drop by Borgernes Hus to further your knowledge about the city and meet others who call Odense home.

Community Café is a monthly recurring event, and each session has its own theme. 

This month’s theme (May): Public transportation
📍NB! We'll meet in meeting room 1.1. on the 1st floor in Borgernes Hus 

There are many ways to get from A to B in Odense – walking, biking, driving – or using public transportation. Our city is connected via bus, train and tram service when it comes to public transportation.

We have invited guests from FynBus and Odense Letbane (tram service) to tell more about your possibilities in using public transportation to experience the city, or to commute from school and work etc. They will also tell us about Rejsekortet and other simple and smart ways to pay for your trip, and offer general tips on the easiest ways to commute and connect.

They are also happy to answer any questions on transportation that you might have.
