Community Café at International House Odense introduces municipal Odense — where to find help, and how to access information about social activities and the practical aspects of everyday life in the city.

Our goal is to help you make the most of the many services available to you as a citizen of Odense.

At Community Café, we’re all about social connections and getting to know the community around us. There’s so much we can learn from our community, and with a central venue like Borgernes Hus, it couldn’t be easier to add fresh insights and friendly conversations to your day.

Maybe you’re curious about your local community too? We invite both Danes and internationals in Odense to drop by Borgernes Hus to further your knowledge about the city and meet others who call Odense home.
 
Community Café is a monthly recurring event, and each session has its own theme.

Looking for leisure activities in Odense?
Odense has a large variety of sports clubs and associations – from mainstream sports to more niche. Joining a club or an association is a perfect way to get to know local Danes, have fun, and practice the Danish language in a more informal and social setting.
 
We have invited a colleague from the municipal leisure department in Odense Kommune (Fritidsafdelingen) to tell us more about how to join clubs, Danish association culture and what to expect if you or your children join a club or association.

We hope you will join us in support of this new event series by International House Odense, and we look forward to welcoming you!
